The Sky Was Never Split β˜οΈπŸŒžπŸŒ™

Have you ever looked at a heartbeat line? πŸ«€

It rises, it dips πŸ“ˆπŸ“‰

And it’s exactly this up-and-down rhythm that shows us life is present.

If the line ever goes flat, it means life has stopped.

Yet in our daily lives, we often hope to stay only at the high points β€” as if life should always be smooth, effortless, and bright.

Without realising, we are secretly judging situations, trying to decide what is the best for us (using our brain, from the limited info that we have), leaning toward whatever we think is the best for us.

But is this really the truth?

Is this really what’s happening?

Is this why things happen?

Let me bring you back to a serene place that is still vivid in my memories.

A few years ago, I was in Jeju Island, walking through a peaceful landscape.

There was a soft slope, wild horses, and plants I didn’t even know the names of β€” the kind that only grow in four seasons countries.

The scene felt like a painting. 🎨

To my right, the sun was setting, casting the sky in warm orange and gold.

To my left, the moon had already risen, shining softly in a cool blue sky.

For a moment, I was simply amazed.

How could the sun and the moon share the sky at the same time?

Back home, I had never seen this. It felt like magic.

But then, something struck me.

I realised β€” it was me who was splitting the sky in half.

Right and left. Warm and cool.

But the sky itself was never divided.

It was just me, standing there, drawing an imaginary line through something that had always been whole 🌏

Well, I really thought I had the authority to split the sky, didn’t I? πŸ˜†

And it made me wonder…

Maybe we do this all the time.

Maybe we search so hard for harmony, while in reality, harmony has been there all along 🌈

We just need to stop dividing it in our minds.

We see life in slices β€” as if it’s either this or that.

Good or bad. Right or wrong. Success or failure.

But what we see is just one plane, one layer, of a much bigger dimension.

So here’s a little thought to sit with:

What if, instead of rushing to label something as good or bad for us, we simply allow ourselves to fully experience it first? 🌱

Not rushing to understand.

Not rushing to judge.

Just immersing ourselves fully in the experience as it is.

Maybe what feels uncomfortable now is part of a bigger, more beautiful picture.

Maybe what feels perfect now is just one stroke in a painting that’s still unfolding. 🎨

The sun and the moon?

They were never competing for space.

They were simply sharing the sky, like old friends passing each other gently πŸŒžπŸŒ™

Your Turn 🧩

We live life in a pixel, but life is a whole picture.

Is there something in your life right now that you’ve been zooming in on, labelling as β€œbad,” and placing too much weight upon?

What if, just for today, you soften your gaze, and see it as just one tiny pixel in the grand masterpiece of your life? 🎨✨
