🌋 The Evolution of Anger: When Boundaries Begin to Speak

For years, my dreams followed the same unsettling pattern.

I was running 🏃 — always being chased, breathless, heart racing.

Sometimes I’d stop to explain myself… but the other person never understood 🥲

I’d wake up in a wave of rage 🌋 Disappointed. Exhausted.

Then, over time, the dream shifted.

No more explaining. Just running. Furiously.

I wouldn’t stop, not even when my lungs 🫁 burned — I couldn’t face that same disappointment again.

And just recently, a new version arrived.

In the dream, someone took my coffee ☕️

I didn’t run. I didn’t explain.

I took action 🤪

Still angry, yes — but this time, I woke up feeling… calmer. Lighter. Less suffocated by rage.

🌀 What Was That All About?

😴 Dreams have a curious way of showing us what we’re not ready to see in daylight.

Mine? They revealed the slow shift in how I relate to anger.

From fear to expression. From shutdown to sovereignty.

In the past, I would suppress my anger. Over and over.

To stay kind. To remain compassionate.

To be the one who gives space, who makes peace, who tries to understand — even when my efforts were taken for granted.

But that unspoken part of me… it never went away.

It grew restless. It grew louder 📢

Until it found a way to show up — first in dreams, now in waking life, as healthier boundaries 🚧

🌑 The Shadow Side: Not a Monster, But a Mirror

We often exile 💇🏻 the parts of us that feel too raw, too intense, too unacceptable.

Anger. Resentment. Boundaries. Even the voice that says “enough.” 🚫

But these aren’t flaws.

They’re unmet needs.

Unspoken truths.

Parts of us we once believed we had to hide in order to be loved.

True healing isn’t about silencing them.

It’s about listening 👂

Because when your anger finally speaks, it’s not asking you to destroy.

It’s asking you to protect what matters ❤️

🌱 The Compassion That Includes You

We often think compassion means extending grace to everyone else — no matter the cost.

But true compassion isn’t complete until it includes you.

Only when you begin to place your well-being at the center

— not selfishly, but firmly —

does your compassion become sustainable.

Then, something beautiful happens:

💧You’re no longer drained when someone vents.

💧You don’t crumble when someone disagrees.

💧You stop bending yourself in half just to keep the peace.

You start caring from a place of fullness — not obligation.

Your kindness becomes rooted 🌴 not reactive.

You give, because you choose to — not because you forgot how to say no 🛑

✨ Only when you put your well-being first does your inner fountain of compassion become overflowing — and refillable.

Because when you give from emptiness, it runs dry.

But when you give from fullness, it flows with ease.

🌙 Healing Isn’t Overnight — But It’s Always Unfolding

The dreams I shared?

They evolved over years 🗓️

Not weeks. Not even months.

So if you’re still stuck in a place where your anger scares you, or your voice feels silent…

Please don’t rush yourself.

Healing doesn’t always roar 🦁

Sometimes, it whispers — then slowly builds into a truth that’s ready to be spoken.

You’re not behind.

You’re just… unfolding 🌱

🪞Your Turn

Is there a boundary 🚧 within you waiting to speak?

What might happen if, just once,

you didn’t run, didn’t explain —

but simply stood in your truth, steady and whole?
