Not the End — But a New Base for Growth 🌿

Some endings feel like there’s a hollow space left in your heart 🕳️

As if there was once a bright, welcoming harbour 🛟 — a place you always knew you could return to when storms hit.

But now, even though the harbour still exists in your memory, it feels like you no longer have permission to dock there.

If you’ve ever gone through an ending — a relationship, a dream, or a chapter of your life — you might know this feeling well.

There’s a gap, a silent absence.

An ache that’s hard to put into words.

And somewhere deep inside, you wonder: What now?

While no words can completely fill the space left behind, let me share a gentle reflection 🌱

Life is always moving in circles 🔄

When I was in Hong Kong, I visited a garden filled with lotuses 🪷

Some were still tightly closed, like secrets waiting to be told.

Some were in full bloom — bright, open, alive.

And some had already passed their flowering stage. Their petals had fallen away, but from within, the seed pod was forming 🌱

In that moment, something clicked for me.

🌸 The closed bud carries the promise of blooming.

🌸 The blooming flower, too, softly fades — not as a loss, but to make space for the seeds to grow.

🌸 And those seeds? They hold the fresh beginnings of what’s next.

Each stage hands over to the next, naturally and gracefully.

And here’s something comforting to remember:

Nothing is truly wasted.

What looks like an end becomes nourishment for what follows.

What feels like loss becomes the soil for future life.

Even in endings, you carry something forward 💫

Think about school 🏫:

When you finish one stage, you don’t start the next as a blank slate.

You carry your lessons, memories, friendships, and growth — all of it becomes your foundation.

The same happens when:

  • You change careers 🖥️

  • End a relationship ❤️‍🩹

  • Complete a personal project 📝

Even the experiences that once brought you pain still offer you hidden gifts, waiting to support you in future chapters.

Nothing is ever lost.

Not really.

It simply transforms ✨

To those going through difficult endings right now 🌧️

This is for you, softly:

Right now, you may not see the gifts yet — and that’s okay.

There’s no rush.

When you’re ready to release the pain, what remains will be the treasures of the experience.

And those treasures?

They’ll walk alongside you in your journey ahead.

Not loudly, but faithfully.

One day, you may even find yourself helping someone else across a similar bridge — and in that moment, you’ll realise: this experience, too, had its place in your life ❤️

Perhaps, as you move forward, you’ll discover new harbours awaiting you ⚓️

Or even build your own 🛶
